Lip Blush Model – Requirements & Disclaimer

 Lip blush model appointments are offered at a discounted rate for training, technique refinement, portfolio development, and promotional content. Lip blush is a cosmetic tattoo procedure designed to enhance natural lip color, definition, and symmetry. Please carefully review the following requirements before booking.

Lip Health & Eligibility:

• Lips must be healthy and free of active cold sores, cuts, cracks, infections, or significant irritation.
• Clients with a history of cold sores (HSV-1) must disclose this information before booking. Lip blushing may trigger an outbreak, and consultation with a healthcare provider regarding preventive antiviral medication is recommended.
• Clients must be at least 18 years of age and present valid government-issued photo identification.
• All medical conditions, allergies, medications, and previous lip procedures must be disclosed during registration.

Photos & Videos:

Model appointments require separate, explicit consent for before-and-after photographs and/or videos of the treatment area. Authorized content may be used by Leigh Way Beauty for educational purposes, portfolio development, website content, and social media marketing.

Full-face photographs or videos will only be taken and used for promotional purposes with additional authorization.

Before Your Appointment:

• Keep lips well-hydrated and moisturized during the days leading up to your appointment.
• Gently exfoliate lips 2–3 days before your appointment only if the skin is healthy and unbroken. Avoid aggressive exfoliation.
• Avoid excessive sun exposure, tanning, and irritating lip products before your appointment.
• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your procedure.
• Disclose any use of blood-thinning medications or supplements. Do not discontinue prescribed medications without approval from your healthcare provider.
• Arrive with clean lips, free of lipstick, gloss, or other lip products.
• Plan to remain comfortably reclined for approximately 3 hours.

Healing & Expected Results:

Lip blush is a multi-stage healing process. Initial color may appear brighter or darker immediately following the procedure before softening as the lips heal.

Temporary swelling, tenderness, dryness, and flaking may occur. Final healed color varies based on individual skin characteristics, natural lip pigmentation, healing response, and aftercare compliance.

Clients with darker or unevenly pigmented lips may require lip neutralization and additional sessions before achieving their desired color.

Model Eligibility:

Leigh Way Beauty reserves the right to modify, postpone, or decline a model appointment when contraindications, active skin conditions, unrealistic expectations, or other safety concerns make treatment unsuitable.

A consultation and lip assessment will be completed before the procedure. Desired color results cannot be guaranteed.

Model Pricing:

Discounted lip blush treatments are offered in exchange for model participation and authorized photo/video documentation.

Model appointments are subject to availability and cannot be combined with additional discounts or promotions.

Additional sessions, including touch-ups or neutralization treatments, may incur separate fees unless otherwise stated in the booking description.

Consent & Acknowledgment:

By booking a lip blush model appointment, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and understand the requirements, preparation instructions, healing expectations, and model participation conditions outlined above.

A separate permanent makeup informed consent form and photography authorization must be completed before treatment.
